Saalemühle Alsleben

With about 150 employees Saalemühle processes 1,300 tons of wheat and durum wheat per day. Approximately 200,000 tons of grain can be stored in the company’s own silos today. In 2015 a completely new production line for spelt including additional raw materials storage was put into operation. Saalemühle offers a wide range of products that are manufactured to over 100 different recipes, mainly to modern food manufacturers. For the purchase of raw materials and the co-operation with suppliers and contractional farmers Saalemühle collaborates with BARO Lagerhaus Aschersleben, AgriFutura Querfurt, and N.U. Agrar GmbH.
